Our History |
Kannwood Timberworks began operating in 2016. Though the company is young, furniture building runs in the family. Going all the way back to Brett's Grandfather Don Kibbler and Opa Johann Kannenberg. Don was a journeyman trades person who spent time building and refinishing many different projects with his grandchildren throughout the years. As well Johan who was a hard working German carpenter. He spent his days building everything from wagons, to furniture, to houses. The majority of the materials he used in his furniture were discarded or recycled material that he worked and milled to form beautiful pieces of furniture. He passed down his passion, techniques, and hard working demeanor to his son Robert who now passed along that knowledge and experience to Brett. It may be a young company but it comes with 3 generations of tradition, passion, and hard work.

Material
|
We source our reclaimed material from Saskatchewan ranches and farms, as well as urban demolition sites. All of the reclaim material is unique and carries a story of it's past with it that we pass along to you. As for our hardwood projects that material is bought locally in Regina from a family owned vendor.
